While July and August are peak wedding season and couples look forward to getting bright, colourful, vibrant wedding photos, mid winter can provide beautiful light and tones that give a really nice palette for photographs. This photo was taken in Brockwell Park on the Brixton/Herne Hill borders just before New Year. It was a really foggy day, which of course reduced visibility and made the process of capturing atmospheric yet detailed wedding photos really challenging. But I was really happy with the results – the subdued palette and the crispness of the photographs work really well together.
